The Fishing Fair Society

The Second Fair: held Sunday 28th of November

Held in Karnak at the FFS compound (just south of ULead, on the banks of the lake), it lasted for three game nights. An initial 50-serving speed recipe was cooked, with a record speed boost of +54 but a disapointing duration of 24 minutes. As attendance was much, much strong than during the first fair, at the end of the first night most of the recipe was gone and a second was prepared. Acting upon the wishes of the majority of the fishermen presents, the second recipe was somewhat less strong (+43) but much longer lasting: 57 minutes. Recipes similar to that second one will most likely be used for futur fairs. In total, around 80 servings were sold and only a dozen serving remained at the end of the third night.
In addition, a 48-min lasting carry recipe allowing the transport of up to 6000 db was provided; it was made somewhat stronger than the one used in the first fair, which had proved insufficiently strong. FFS estimates that over 100 000 fishes were caught during the fair!
In addition, fishermen at the event had the option for the first time of joining the "Friends of FFS" guild, a 50-place guild built to allow participants to exchange the location of the best catch, provide feedback to the FFS organisers and, of course, brag about their catches!
The competition for the biggest fish caught was won Chtipouss with a record-breaking 141 db perch. Congratulation to the winner, who earned 5000 Goodscrip from the The Goods store.
